About this game
The Core Objective
In Sum 21 Card Columns, players receive a hand of cards and must assign them to one of four separate piles. The challenge is to make the numerical value of each pile reach exactly 21. This straightforward goal hides a layer of careful planning, as each card you place affects the remaining possibilities.
Rules and Limits
Each pile can hold no more than five cards. If a pile’s total goes over 21, or if you try to add a sixth card, you lose one of your three lives. The game ends when all three lives are gone, or when you successfully complete all four piles. There is no timer, so you can pause and consider each placement without pressure.
Scoring and Bonuses
Efficient card combinations and smart placements can earn bonus points. The scoring system rewards players who finish piles with fewer cards or who use particularly clever sequences. This adds a layer of replayability, as you can try to improve your score on the same puzzle.
Visual and Interface Design
The interface is clean and friendly, with clear card graphics and intuitive drag-and-drop controls. The design focuses on clarity, making it easy to see each pile’s current total at a glance. This simplicity helps players concentrate on the puzzle rather than navigating complex menus.
Progression and Difficulty
The game may include multiple rounds or levels, each presenting a new arrangement of cards. As you advance, the puzzles become more challenging, requiring deeper planning. This gradual increase keeps the experience engaging for both newcomers and experienced puzzle fans.
